I made a diagram to show front seat passengers the correct places to put their feet and legs in order to have a safe trip, free from physical and verbal abuse:
It’s quite simple to understand, really. KEEP YOUR DAMN SWEATY STINKY ASS FEET OFF OF MY FRESHLY CLEANED DASH.
Also, the last 8 times that I shifted into 5th gear, you got punched in the knee. WTF do you think is going to happen the next time? MOVE YOUR LEG.
Some passengers understand this concept quickly and easily. Others need a bit more encouragement.

This diagram doesn’t cover the “feet out the window” situation. Is that the defenestration-at-speed zone?

I’m ok with that.

Nothing, and I mean nothing, can stop my wife from the feet on the dash. I wish. I have wishes.

Feet on dash = won’t put on seat belt.
*pulls to curb, “ride by my rules or get out” *

Find picture on internet of someone who had feet on dash during accident. The level of gore is your choice. Print. Temporarily affix to dash prior to her next ride in your car.

As a nurse in a trauma center, she scoffs at anything I show here that I say is gory. It's rough.

Oh wow. I actually know a nurse who treated some guy who was riding with his feet on the dash. His pelvis was broken and he ended up dying. If that don’t stop her nothing will m8!
